Shukran Health hosts a nationwide team of healthcare professionals with the sole goal of finding Physicians their next adventure, in a place they feel they’re valued, according to what they value.

Shukran was created for the same reason it’s name means “Thank you” in so many languages. Our organization came together from all facets of Healthcare (the technology side, administration, operations, and of course healthcare professionals) to find where physicians can be valued, thus creating long term continuity of care in the facilities that we partner with.

We only look for high caliber and/or high potential physicians who deserve to be in a place that fits their needs, therein creating better quality care, which we the people (here in the great US of A) want to keep up, where it makes sense to you.

FAQ

Where do we have opportunities?

We don’t accept any retainers from facilities at this time, thus you won’t see any facilities information on our website. Through our organization we have reach for every major city and organization in the country, but, we can staff nationwide as needed (in the US)

Why Should I work with Shukran Health?

If you are a physician: We put our priorities on finding the best fit, setting you up with as many interviews and meetings as necessary to find your perfect fit. We represent physicians first, not organizations (we represent you).

If you represent a facility: Please read above and understand if you don’t want to use our services, that is fine, but, we are contingent on placement, thus only fees upon physician accepting an offer. We are physician first and please submit your best terms when speaking with a member of our team as we expect the best for our physicians, and will only do whats best for them in any and all recommendations we have.

How much more do I expect to make working with you compared to if I work directly with the facility day one?

80%+ of the reason physicians switch is due to not being happy financially with their current compensation structure (the rest are due to a myriad of reasons). Consider it in our best interest to always negotiate a higher salary, but, we know the numbers. We will tell you off the bat if you’re reasonable, but, again, it’s in our best interest (we charge the facilities a percentage based on what you make that does not come out of your pocket). The more you make, the more we make (win-win)

How much does it cost to use your services?

As a physician there is no cost to you, all from the facility

Facility cost- flat percent based on contingency of offer accepted (half upon email acceptance, rest decided based on period of time for start).

What if I don’t have a green card or US citizenship?

If you’re Canadian, we can make it work without issue, for non US or Canadian citizens this is on a facility by facility basis.

Do you work with facilities outside of the United States?

We only currently work with American Hospitals. If they have organizations outside of the US we will work with them, but, we prefer to ask for a significant increase in your pay before even considering (not to mention ex pat benefits)

Are all your positions in person?

Not at all, for some fields (internal medicine and psychiatry primarily) you can expect us to have plenty of opportunities that are not in person, but, anticipate the pay scale to be different.

Do you only staff clinical roles?

Not always, we primarily focus on clinical roles, but, we do have roles that have a percentage of time dedicated to leadership and/or research based(based on your experience or what you are looking for.

Do you work on anything other than permanent positions?

What do I need to get started?

As a physician, you just need to send over your resume, a cover letter, and have an onboarding call with a recruiter

As a facility, you need to sign a contingency contract.

What if I want a role with Shukran Health (internally)

We are growing our team based on our own goals and schedule, but, feel free to use the contact us tab to also send over your information

Other than Errors and Omission, what if we’re not happy with the facility we accepted?

Please do understand we are here to facilitate using our relationships with facilities, and we do accept you to follow your contract you set with facility. That being said, we are not liable to facility or physician as we are connecting you with facility (and vise versa) and all liability is between parties we connect.
